Pile burning is an efficient and cost-effective way to dispose of forest fuels. Get tips on how to build piles that will burn effectively, ways to mitigate smoke impacts, and more at our pile burning workshop! Whether you're new to building and burning piles or looking to refine your process, this workshop will be a valuable, hands-on learning opportunity.
We'll practice building a pile or two, then have the opportunity to learn more while we burn several piles on our host's property. There will be lots of time for questions and observation.
This workshop is a collaborative effort between Mt. Adams Resource Stewards (MARS), the Snowden Fire Adapted Community group, and the Mt. Adams Prescribed Burn Association.
